I’m a marketing professional and visual storyteller with a passion for social media, photography, and creative branding. I create engaging content, manage social media accounts, design graphics, and produce photography and video that showcase brands authentically. I love combining aesthetics with strategy to tell stories that connect with audiences and reflect a brand’s identity. Outside of work, I enjoy practicing ceramics and being in nature.

I photographed my pottery using a homemade photography studio to showcase my work on Instagram. I’ve been practicing pottery for two years, and capturing my pieces through photography has become a creative passion that allows me to highlight texture, form, and detail.

YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina

Throughout my career with the YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina, I managed Facebook and Instagram accounts for Nir Family YMCA, Midtown YMCA, Sampson YMCA, YMCA Camp Kirkwood, and the YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina. I created engaging posts, reels, and videos to showcase programs, events, and community stories, strengthening each location’s brand and boosting audience engagement.

On these pages, you can view the graphics and reels I created during my time at the YMCA. While I am not the only person posting, I am responsible for the majority of the Reels and visual content.

As the first Communication intern at The Greenhouse, I developed a brand identity for the Kresge Greenhouse’s social media presence. I established a consistent visual identity through signature colors, branded templates, and cohesive typography. The slideshow below showcases examples of my work from the internship.

Camp Kirkwood Summer Camp

During my Marketing and Public Relations Internship with the YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina, I created a printed mailer insert for YMCA’s Camp Kirkwood to help increase registrations and awareness for overnight camp. I wanted to target not only parents, but the kids as well. Within brand guidelines, I chose a combination of colors and graphic elements to create a colorful, engaging mailer that will stand out to my audience. I changed the proportions of the YMCA’s arrow to create depth in the background. To promote overnight camp, I chose images of campers from the previous summer around the age range that we wanted to target. I used strong textual hierarchy through font sizes and weights. I believe that this design demonstrates my ability to craft creative designs within branding guidelines.

I designed a template and final printed advertisement using YMCA colors and branding. I created an energetic layout with engaging visual flow that feels lively and dynamic while keeping the design balanced and readable, effectively capturing attention without overwhelming the viewer.

Giving Tuesday

I designed and updated the Giving Tuesday landing page to align with the YMCA’s brand and messaging. My work included creating graphics, writing clear calls to action, and organizing content to make the donation process simple and engaging. The page successfully supported the campaign by driving donor engagement and contributing to overall fundraising goals.

Email Newsletter

December Members Newsletter

I designed and wrote the December email newsletter to engage members and share upcoming programs and events. Using Canva and Constant Contact, I crafted visuals and copy that reflected the YMCA brand while making information easy to read and actionable. The newsletter successfully increased click-through engagement and kept members informed and connected.
